Experience
ESI Design | Director of Activity and Immersive Design Department | August 2015 - July 2016
As Director of Immersive and Activity Design at ESI Design, Emily Conrad creates compelling and interactive user experiences, developing experience design strategies that encourage engagement, inspire meaningful connections and activate audiences for a wide array of project types.
Drawing upon her expertise in interaction design, physical computing and technology implementation, Emily leads a team of designers to envision— and bring to life—fresh, interactive experiences and games, data visualizations, and large-scale media environments that integrate the physical environment with the digital and social. Emily has played a leading creative role for ESI for several large-scale interactive environments that integrate in-person gaming and simulation experiences, most recently for Comcast’s groundbreaking new retail store experience, Studio Xfinity in Chicago.

My goal is to foster a lifelong interest in science and technology through a program environment that encourages learning by doing.
